Character Ed Theme – Integrity
- Thank you to everyone who participated in the cereal drive!!! The amount of cereal we get to donate is amazing! Winners will be announced tomorrow!!
- Congratulations – Three of our eighth graders competed at New Athens Jr. High in the Cahokia Conference Algebra Bee. Teams from 9 other conference schools also competed in the contest. Addison Colbert, Zoey Masengale, and Adam Sangiolo tested for us and were able to capture 3rd place. They competed in an individual test as well as in a speed relay round. Congratulations team and thanks for making MCS proud!!
- Donut Day – Final donut day of the year is tomorrow, Friday May 5th!! Bring $1
- Student Council is hosting an Aloha to Summer dance on Friday, May 12th form 7-9 for 6th-8th grade. The 8th graders get an extra hour 9-10 and food and drinks. The cost is $5.
- Beta Members: We have a meeting this Thursday 5/4 at 7:30 and your hours are due! We will move cereal collection to Thursday instead of Wednesday and there is an opportunity for PTA babysitting tonight. Please sign up.
- If you are interested in running for student council, please remember petitions are due May 11th. Grab one from your homeroom teacher.
