Character Ed Theme – Integrity
- Congratulation Jett Meinen, Austin Todd, and Anderson Bauer on their wrestling wins over Triad!
- Congratulations to our Math Team! Some members of the Math Team competed on January 18th in the Belleville East Mathematics Contest and they didn’t disappoint! Competitors included 7th Grader Myles Kurfman and representing the 8th Grade, Rylie Szarek, Kaden Copling-Jaroenngarm, Annabelle Brunner, JT Milton, Eli Seneczyn and Jayden Richardson. Myles captured the 1st Place Medal in the 7th Grade division while Eli earned a 10th Place ribbon, JT-a 9th Place Ribbon, Annabelle - an 8th Place Ribbon, Kaden - a 7th Place Ribbon and Rylie won the 1st Place Medal in the 8th Grade Division! We also earned 2nd Place ribbons for one of the team competitions and a 3rd place trophy for 3rd place overall! Great job Math Team, way to represent MCS!
- Student Council has a meeting Tuesday morning at 7:15. We also need 2 workers for the volleyball game Tuesday night 3:30-5:30. Please let me know if you are available. - Mrs. Wilson
- Attention students, Young Author's manuscripts are due no later than February 7th. No late entries will be accepted. Entries must have a substantial cover. Notebook paper will not be accepted. Winners will be notified by February 20th if they will be invited to attend the ceremony at Westhaven School. If you have any questions you may reach out to Mrs. Harms. Good luck authors!
- We have partnered with the St. Clair County Garden Club to hold a sculpture contest. The student projects will be due January 25th. See flyer on school website for more information.
- Odyssey of the Mind is hosting a FunDrive. Bring in your old clothes, shoes, bedding, books,and other soft goods by February 1st to help benefit our five Odyssey teams! Donations can be brought to Mrs. Rasmussen’s room or you can contact her at brasmussen@mccsd160.com for a large donation! Please see virtual backpack for more details in the flyer.
