Character Ed Theme – Accomplishment

·          Congratulations Flag Corp!  Congratulations to the Flag Corp for the 2024-2025 school year:  Aubrey Keck, Katelyn Wojda, Olivia Triska, Reagan Witt, Brooke Sharringhausen, Elle Asbrock, Mackenna Hauck, Jordyn Hassard; alternates: Emma Vrooman,  Avery Lopinot, and Eleanor Hogg. 

·         Talent Show contestants who were unable to stay for dress rehearsals due to the weather yesterday, please plan to go to the band room today after you eat lunch so you can practice. Any contestants who would like additional time to practice can also come to the band room during lunch. 

·         Mrs. Wicklein and Mrs. Weiler will not be available for study hall today.

·         Yearbooks Extra yearbooks will go on sale starting Monday, May 13th in both offices. The cost is $25. Please have exact change or a check made out to MCS. There is no waiting list for extra books. 

·         Help us, Help others!  Donation Drive being held by the 6^th Grade Millstadt Project from May 7^th to May 15^th.  Choose which area of the community you would like to donate to (First Responder Care Packages or Senior Center Bingo Prizes & Millstadt Gardens Care Packages.!  Donations can be dropped off in any MCS or MPC office, or brought in to your homeroom teacher.  Please see the flyer located in the virtual backpack.  Thanks for donating!

·         Attn: Track Students: Any track athlete that is not going to the State Track Meet needs to turn in their jersey to Coach Bilbruck by tomorrow Friday, May 10^th.

·         7^th & 8^th Grade Students-If you want to sign up for the field day volleyball tournament on May 10th, sign-up sheet is in the gym.

·         There will be a softball meeting next Thursday May 16th at 8am in Mr. Keeley’s room for 5th - 8th grade girls interested in playing softball for the 2024-2025 school year. 

·         All 7th and 8th graders that played 3 sports this year, please sign the blue board in the gym

·         Student Council - It's time to elect Student Council Members for next year!!! Petitions have
been given to a teacher in grades 5-7. Please read through the requirements carefully.  You must get 25 classmates from your grade level to sign your petition as well as 4 teachers that can attest to your character. Once you have filled out all the questions and received your signatures, please turn it in to your homeroom teacher. They are due TODAY: Thursday, May 9th!! -  The following are some guidelines for acceptance in Student Council: Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Display leadership qualities. Have the ability to work with others. Demonstrate appropriate behavior in and out of the classroom. Possess the desire to make Millstadt Schools a better place!!     If you are planning to run for student council for next year, petitions are due this Thursday. Elections will take place next week!
