Character Ed Theme – Accomplishment
Ø Panthers Got Talent is on Monday, May 13th! The following students were selected to perform: Emma Vrooman, Kate Haake, Aubrey Wargo, The Dancing Divas, Connor Crank, Elizabeth Naylor, Esmee Balance Husted, Braylee Peyman, and Vincent Koch. Congratulations and please report to the gym Wednesday, May 8th at 2:30 pm for the Dress Rehearsal, bring all gear and outfits!
Ø Student Council - Elections will take place this week. Thank you! Mrs. Wilson
Ø Jazz Band – Permission slips are due for your Breadeaux’s and Happy Days trip
Ø Yearbooks Extra yearbooks will go on sale starting Monday, May 13th in both offices. The cost is $25. Please have exact change or a check made out to MCS.
Ø Help us, Help others! Donation Drive being held by the 6th Grade Millstadt Project from May 7th to May 15th. Choose which area of the community you would like to donate to (First Responder Care Packages or Senior Center Bingo Prizes & Millstadt Gardens Care Packages.! Donations can be dropped off in any MCS or MPC office, or brought in to your homeroom teacher. Please see the flyer located in the virtual backpack. Thanks for donating!
Ø There will be a softball meeting, Thursday May 16th at 8am in Mr. Keeley’s room for 5th - 8th grade girls interested in playing softball for the 2024-2025 school year.
Ø All 7th and 8th graders that played 3 sports this year, please sign the blue board in the gym.
Ø Volleyball Camp Information: Volleyball camp forms are due by next Friday
Ø The boys and girls track teams finished their seasons at the state track meet Saturday with a great showing. Both teams finished in the top 10 and had several medalists and new school records.
Medalists for the boys are:
Noah Thomason - 5th in long jump & 8th in the 200
Cooper Bilbruck - 8th in Pole Vault
Kalind Hendricks - 4th in Hurdles
Easton Blair - 8th in mile (school record) & 6th in 800 (school record)
4x100 Relay Mark Burton, Kalind Hendricks, Luke Schmidt, Noah Thomason - 4th (school record)
4x400 Relay Grayson Leiber, Riley Szarek, Micah Pitre, Easton Blair - 4th (school record)
Girls medalists are:
Lainey Capell - 4th in 100, 4th in 200
Mylee Davis - 3rd in 400, 7th in 200
4x400 Mikah Davis, Alyssa Sternau, Lucy Senezcyn, Mylee Davis - 2nd
Coach Bilbruck and Coach Keeley are very proud of all the great performances and appreciate all of the hard work to make the season a huge success!
