Reminder to students that the Young Authors' stories are due by Wednesday, February 12th to Mrs. Harms. Winner will be announced by February 24th, and will attend the conference at Central Jr. High in March. Make sure your story is a finished project with a sturdy cover before turning in. No stapled paper copies will be accepted. Can't wait to read all the entries!
Student Council Members: There are several sign-ups on the board to work the concession stand for home volleyball games next week. Please check your availability and sign up. The first one is Tuesday!! - Mrs. Wilson
Valograms will be on sale for $1 next week at both schools. MPC will have sales in the morning and MCS will have them during lunch periods. The last day to send in an order will be February 7th. MPC students will receive a heart shaped sucker and message and MCS students will receive a message and a Crush soda for their crush!! Thank you! - Mrs. Wilson
4th, 5th and 6th Graders: A reminder that sculptures for the Recycling Contest are due TOMORROW (1/30) if you'd like to participate. Contest judges come on Thursday after school. Cash prizes to the top three places! See Mrs. Fischer for more contest information.
Congrats to the 6th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams on their victories over St. James last night! Big home game tonight against Red Bud for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. First game starts at 4:15. Let’s pack the stands with our Panther Fans tonight to show some support!
The chess team defeated Waterloo last night. Congratulations to the chess team players who won their matches: Conner Brannum, Julian Perez, Bryce Timm, Myles Kurman, Trevor Juefls, and Henry Mauck.
