Character Ed Theme – Resilience
Attention All Students….
Ø Attention Students…. 8th Grade Theme tonight at the Volleyball game is USA! Wear your red, white and blue to tonight’s game!!
Ø Attention All Students…. The Millstadt PTA is having a Skating Party at Fun Spot in Belleville on Friday, March 27th from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Admission is $10. All you can eat pizza and soda! Will have a Spring Trivia and Games. Winner goes in the Cyclone Machine! Win a prize from our Easter Basket!
Ø Attention 8th Grade Girls…. The 2020-2021 Belleville West Cheerleading tryouts for Football Cheer, Basketball-Competitive Cheer, and Junior Varsity Basketball Cheer are on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the North Balcony gym at Belleville West. Please arrive between 5:30 to 5:45 for registration. Please go to the informational meeting is this Friday, March 13th @ 8:00 a.m. or 3:40 p.m. in D103 to tryout on March 18th. Any questions, please email lquandt@bths201.org or sstephens@bths201.org. Flyers are in the Principal’s office.
Come one Come All to the Spring BOGO Book Fair. Book Fair starts on Tuesday, March 31st with an open house at the MPC from 6-8 p.m. The class with the most students to attend will receive a $25.00 gift card. So make sure you come out and show your support for your class! The book fair runs until April 3rd.
Happy Earth Day Celebration!!!! Our Earth Day Fundraising Project will begin on Monday, March 16th. Students will have an opportunity to bring in change for donations to the Earth Day Project. At the end of the campaign – the classroom with the most donations will receive an: Ice Cream Sundae in the Park Party.
There will be one winning classroom from each school. (MCS/MPC)
Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22nd ~ we will celebrate with our yearly landscaping projects. The funds raised from all the classrooms will be used to purchase soil, mulch and plants for the landscaping barrels. Students will have an opportunity to plant in the landscaping barrels on the school campus in May. They continue this project by caring for the planters until the end of the school year. This gives them an opportunity to see their flowers bloom and grow prior to the graduation ceremonies at both MCS and MPC.
