Character Ed Theme – Commitment
Attention Students…
Congratulation to the Accelerated Jr. High Math Classes..A few weeks ago several students from the accelerated math classes in Junior High competed in a math contest hosted by Gibault High School. 10 student’s scores for each grade, 7th and 8th, were submitted for the competition. 8 area schools participated in the contest and approximately 50 participants per grade level. We had several students who received awards for their impressive work. In 7th grade, Evan Wheeler captured the 1st place medal! Jorja Segraves was awarded 4th place for her score that was tied with the 3rd place finisher but due to pre-determined tie-breakers, her rank was dropped to 4th place. In addition, Ayla Petryshyn earned a 6th place ribbon. In 8th Grade, Caleb Gruenewald was awarded the 2nd place medal, Landon Kinder captured a 3rd place medal and Jack White won a 6th place ribbon! Mr. Beatty and Ms. Glaeser are proud of the effort put forth by their students and congratulate all students on a job well done! A special shout out to the award winners mentioned above!

Attention Track Team…. You will be dismissed today @ 2:45 p.m. for the track meet in Freeburg.

“Join the Band” Meeting with Nottelman’s Music Company in the band room on
May 10th at 6:45 p.m.
Attention All Students…. Beta Club is sponsoring a cereal box drive for the Millstadt Food Pantry. This is a friendly competition and the class that collects the most boxes of cereal will receive a pizza party! We are hoping to set-up the boxes to make a big domino chain throughout the school.
Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students…. Student Council is hosting a Spring Dance on Friday, May 13th from 7-9 p.m. The cost is $5. Permission slips will be available soon. You must have a permission slip to enter the dance.
Attention Students…. The Spring Carnival is on Friday, May 20 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Please look for the flyer and permission slip in the April and May newsletters.
